Submit Your Wedding
Real Weddings are a major source of inspiration to the bride-to-be when planning and making style decisions for her big day. We provide inspiration to them through Real Weddings, Engagement Sessions, Styled Editorial Photo Shoots, Bridal Showers, etc.
Please read these submission guidelines carefully before you submit your work. Allow us 7 days to respond.
GUIDELINES
- Please read our blog and choose images carefully. Select good quality images that tell the story of the day.
- Use the form below to submit 10 – 20, low resolution (72dpi) images with no watermarks. Images must be no larger than 1000 pixels wide.
- We look for images that show the bride, and her maids, the dresses, the groom, and his guys, flowers, tablescapes, and unique items incorporated into the wedding. We also love invitations, favors, and cakes.
- Name of the venue
- Bride and Groom’s first name only
- Photographer’s name and website
If we select your wedding, we will send you an email requesting more images and information. We will need 100+ images, a complete list of vendors including dress designers and a wedding story. We’d like to know what the wedding process was like, what worked well and what didn’t work so well, how the couple found their vendors, why they chose the venue, and what advise they would give couples who are planning their wedding.
HOW TO SUBMIT
We have two options to submit. Option one is submitting on Two Bright Lights. Search for The Westchester Wedding Planner Blog. Option two is via Dropbox at .
Again, if your submission is accepted to be featured on the blog, we will send you an email requesting a story, a vendor list, and more images.

We know that every wedding that comes across our desk is special and beautiful. What do we look for when choosing which wedding to publish? We look for things that set weddings apart. We want to see the flowers, the dress, the cake, the kiss, the venue, the unique things that make each wedding different.
What else do we consider? We look at the photohraphy. Not so much the style as we know that every photographer has his/her style. Does the wedding have enough clearly captured details devoid of unnecessary clutter? Do the images capture pure emotion? Tears, love, happiness, joy.
Are the images submitted telling a comprehensive story of the day? Be sure to include images of the bride getting ready, the dress, the shoes, the invitation, the jewelry, etc. Also, the groom getting ready, the processional, the ceremony, the first look, the bridal party formals, first dance, reception, etc. Every stage of the day should be part of your submission.
