According to photographer Caitlinn of Caitlinn Mahar-Daniels Photography, the day was simple perfection. From the weather to the gorgeous details, it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day to celebrate love.
From Caitlinn Mahar-Daniels Photography: “I was extremely excited to document this wedding because Laura is one of those people with impeccable taste. Down to every last detail. She has a timeless, flawless, and beautiful take on fashion and details so I knew their wedding was going to be absolutely gorgeous.”

Their story in Laura’s words : “Michael and I met through a mutual friend. One summer, years after we first met, we ran into each other at the beach. I had just graduated college and he was already working in NYC. We saw each other amongst friends a few times that summer and I asked him out on our first date! We went to the movies and the rest is history!

The proposal: “I got home from work one night and Michael and I had plans to go to an outdoor food festival for dinner. As soon as we got outside it started pouring rain. We decided to get dinner near our apartment, along the water in Battery Park. After dinner the rain had cleared up and Michael asked me to go on a walk along the water. I suspected nothing of it as we did this a lot. Down by where people dock their boats Michael asked me to marry him. The night was such a typical night for us so it totally threw me off guard when I saw him get down on one knee- I don’t think I’ve ever been more suprised.”
