A Traditional and “Plugged” Wedding – #gregteri

Plugged or unplugged? That is the questions. When it comes to technology and weddings mixing, the etiquette and traditional lines may be blurry. Personally, I think it’s the couple’s choice. For these two having a totally plugged wedding was encouraged.

This wasn’t an unusual occurrence, so she thought nothing of it and the two planned to have dinner that evening. Shortly before they were supposed to meet, Greg called Teri saying that his car wouldn’t start, and she would have to come pick him up. This was also believable since this happened a couple of weeks earlier due to some battery issues.

When Teri showed up, there was a limo waiting for her instead of his car and Greg was standing out front with a carpet lined with lanterns leading the way. He proposed right there and then the two took the limo to have dinner and stay the night. Inside the limo were Teri’s favourite potato chips and, of course, champagne. The hotel room was full of flowers. Greg had never bought Teri flowers before now.

The Wedding: When we were first starting chatting about her wedding, Teri let me know that she wanted something as simple as possible. All of that being said, she wanted to make sure it was a great party and let me know that the happiness of her friends and family was one of her top priorities. I love these kinds of weddings because they always turn out to be pretty relaxed and are always super fun!

Not only do these two know how to have a good time, but they are extra creative too. Their wedding invite was pretty unorthodox and consisted of a really awesome video that encompassed re-imagined scenes from a ton of cult classics including Scream, Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction. They also had a hashtag for their wedding day. Guests were able to use #gregteri throughout the celebration to share images from the day and well wishes for the happy couple. The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0534 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0536 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0543The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0539 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0540 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0541The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0546 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0547 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0548 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0549The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0551 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0552 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0555 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0560 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0561The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0563 The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0568 #gregteriThe Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0572The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0570The Westchester Wedding Planner, wedding dresses, Victoria KYRIAKIDES_0573Photography: Stephanie Beach Photography | Ceremony & Reception Venue: Hockley Valley Resort | Wedding Dress: David’s Bridal | Bridesmaids’ Dresses: David’s Bridal | Groom’s and Groomsmen’s Suit: JCrew, Got Style, Strellson |Groom’s Shoes: The Bay | Florist: Susan Fitzgerald | Linen Rentals: Now and Always
