Traditional Mountain Wedding by Just a Dream Photography

Happy Tuesday Lovelies! Feast, your eyes on this destination wedding to the mountains. It was a weekend long celebration of old traditions and the beginning of some new ones. For example, in lieu of the traditional groom’s cake, they opted for a mound of chocolate covered bacon. Hmmm… I might just have to try this!
Mr. & Mrs. PearsonFrom the photographer: Despite the chill in the air, with a mountain backdrop, they said, “I do” surrounded by friends and family from all across the country. Stuart and Allison made sure to head straight to their dog babies right after the ceremony to have their first photos as Husband and Wife with them. Their new family is just too cute!

The Bride: How did you meet? “Stuart was home for two weeks from Afghanistan when we met at a mutual friend’s graduation party. Our connection was instant, and we talked and went out on a few dates before he went back to Afghanistan. The next six months were full of emails and chats and planning our future together. The rest is history! ”

Tell us about the wedding: “Our focus was to host an event that embodied our personalities and allowed for us, our friends, and our family to have the best time. Our wedding was a destination wedding, and we blocked out an entire lodge for us and our wedding guests. This allowed for an entire weekend of celebrations with our families and friends. We went “non-traditional” with a few things. For example, Stuart’s Groom’s cake was a mound of chocolate-covered bacon that was widely well-received. We got to express ourselves through these non-traditional things. We were sure to celebrate our marriage, of course, but we were also celebrating our friends and family who had contributed to our lives.”Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. PearsonMr. & Mrs. PearsonMr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. Pearson Mr. & Mrs. PearsonMr. & Mrs. PearsonMr. & Mrs. Pearson“Groom’s Cake” Chocolate covered bacon.Mr. & Mrs. PearsonMr. & Mrs. PearsonMr. & Mrs. PearsonPhotographer:  Just a Dream Photography | Dress Store: Bel Fiore Bridal | Ring Designer: Bradley T Harris | Jewelry: Bradley T.
