Multicultural Wedding At Addison Park

We are fascinated by the blending of cultures and traditions. After being married under a Hindu mandap to celebrate the groom’s culture, the couple then married once more under a Jewish chuppah to celebrate the bride’s culture. The best of both worlds comes alive as guests dance and celebrate the night away! This multicultural wedding is truly a melting pot of love.  The Westchester Wedding Planner_0099Why did you choose your venue? The minute I walked into Addison Park I knew this was the place for me. It had the most beautiful black and white foyer with a grand staircase made for a royal castle. My husband and I love a traditional, clean style and Addison Park was perfect for that. The ceremony and reception halls were very spacious as well so that was definitely a plus for our 200+ wedding guests. The dance floor was crucial, though. There wasn’t a single minute where someone wasn’t dancing while the music was playing.

What would be your best advice for a bride planning her wedding? Stay organized! I created a binder that let me visualize all of my vendors, my do to lists, any brochures or business cards I may have collected. I also recommend having someone for help and support if you don’t happen to have a wedding planner. I was lucky enough to have my father help me plan every detail. Whether it’s family or bridesmaids you need a support system during the process.

What were the highlights of the day and why? My favorite parts of the day would probably be the two ceremonies – Hindu and Jewish and the energy on the dance floor during the reception. I loved being immersed in two beautiful cultures with all the unique traditions and details. I am the type of person that is full of life and energy, and I dance every chance I get. The fact that I was able to celebrate and dance the night away with my closest friends and family meant the world to me.The Westchester Wedding Planner_0091 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0096 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0098 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0100 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0102 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0104 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0105 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0107 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0108The Westchester Wedding Planner_0116The Westchester Wedding Planner_0118 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0110 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0112The Westchester Wedding Planner_0111 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0119 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0120 The Westchester Wedding Planner_0124The Westchester Wedding Planner_0121
