Westchester Wedding at Tarrytown House

Let me begin by saying that this bride’s dress from Marisa blew my mind. That’s just the tip of the gorgeous iceberg that is this glamorous wedding. I know, I know, we are featuring a Winter wedding in the Spring. After the long winter we have just had, I couldn’t help it. I had to share this Westchester Wedding by Dideo Films Photography. From the Bride: Sandra (from Tarrytown House), my bridal attendant absolutely made the day. The day would not have gone smoothly at all if it weren’t for Sandra. She was the one that literally ran the show. She did all if the behind the scenes work and coordination with sheer grace. We cannot thank Sandra enough for making our marriage celebration perfect.

Why did you choose the venue? We decided on the Tarrytown House because it was the most conducive for a winter wedding. We knew the grounds would be just as beautiful in the winter as they were when we were looking into it in the summer. Also, I am from outside of Buffalo, so there were a lot of out of town guests. That coupled with the winter weather we knew we wanted a venue that had a hotel on premises. We were also able to have our after party at the Tarrytown House as well. The Tarrytown House allowed us to have a wedding weekend instead of a wedding day.

Any advice you have for other brides? Decide on the ambience that you want your wedding to provide first. That will make all of your subsequent decisions easier. We knew we wanted a romantic & classic wedding that provided a fun, welcoming and relaxed evening for our guests. Our guests’ experience was our primary focus.
