50’s Inspiration Wedding by Angela Howard Photography

I’m convinced that the 1950’s style is seriously becoming one of my very favorite wedding styles. From the hair up do to the tea length dress this stunning bride has embodied the essense, elegance and grace of the era.The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3583Did you do a First Look before the ceremony? In a perfect world, I would have liked Lance to not see me until I walked down the aisle but we needed to do pictures before the ceremony so we decided the next best thing was a first look. Looking back I really liked the first look because it have Lance and I a few minutes with just us to soak it in before we had to be on a schedule.

Tell me about your inspiration for color and design: I was always nervous about using a bold color at my wedding because I was afraid I would hate it in the years to come so I wanted to keep it simple and clean with lots of neutrals, but then I used Navy blue so I had the little splash of color. I picked navy because I feel as though it’s a color that never goes out of style and it’s always a classic.

What were some personal details you incorporated? Lance LOVES ice cream!! He eats it almost everyday. So we made sure to have an ice cream bar for everyone to enjoy!

What was the best piece of wedding advice you got? Never stop dating. Just because were are married now doesn’t mean we should stop dating each other.

What piece of wedding planning advice do you wish you followed? I wish I would have tried harder to enjoy the planning instead of stressing about it.

Anything you wish you hadn’t worried about? Trying to please everyone.

Anything you wish you had known about sooner rather than later? I wish I would have planned out my morning better so I could have had a little time to just be with my bridesmaids right before the ceremony.

What is your very best advice to other brides? Don’t stress. No matter what happens their day will be perfect because it’s their day.The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3567 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3569 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3570The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3577The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3576 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3573 The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3574The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3578The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3580The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3584The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3586The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3587The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3590The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3592The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3596The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3597The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3600The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3601The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3604The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3605The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3608The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3607The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3609The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3610The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3611The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3614The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3616The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3617The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3620The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3624The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3626The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3629The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3631The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3634The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3636The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3638The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3640The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3642The Westchester Wedding Planner,_3643Photographer:  Angela Howard Photography | Event Venue: Thanksgiving Point | Dress Store: David’s Bridal | Invitation Designer: Polka Dots & Daisies | Invitation Designer: Polka Dots and Daisies | Officiant: Rev.
