From the photographer: Meg and Ryan both grew up and met each other on Cape Cod, Massachusetts; so of course, this was the perfect setting for their wedding. Wequassett Resort and Golf Club beautifully encompasses both Ryan and Meg’s styles. Meg considers the beach to be her sanctuary while Ryan is charmed by the modern/rustic feel of Wequassett’s architecture. Leading up to their special day, the couple met and toured with 8 other Cape Cod sites, but nothing compared to Wequassett’s atmostphere, staff, food, and decor. Once the venue was locked in for a romantic, summer wedding, the couple looked to local vendors to complete the planning process.

Ryan and Meg were engaged for a year and a half which allowed them to enjoy the planning process and, more importantly, their engagement! With Meg’s type A personality, and Ryan’s “go-with-the-flow” attitude, vendors were booked early on which helped minimize any unnecessary stress.

The bulk of Meg and Ryan’s inspiration stemmed from their hometown, Cape Cod. Meg also found inspiration through wedding blogs, facebook groups, and pinterest!
